8 Mistakes by CS students that should be avoided

IGNORING STUDY MATERIALS

Mostly students depend on Scanner at their Executive level to crack exam. Concentrate on your institute study material. You will find the question paper easy comparatively. Scanners are just for references. Students stress on the notes of their teachers, which is not wrong at all, but these are secondary to ICSI modules, students should always lay emphasis on the Institute’s books.

DON’T WAIT FOR STUDY HOLIDAYS

Mostly we will tend to wait till the last 30 days (for people who undergo training), and others we get seriousness only one or two week before exam. Avoid that. That would make big difference. Start from Day 1 which may be the day of your result, or the day you write your exam.

NO TIME-TABLE

Mentally, have timetable. You know your strength and weaknesses. Plan accordingly

CONCENTRATE IMPORTANT CHAPTER BUT DON’T LEAVE THE REST

We, are expected to have overall knowledge of the chapter. The chapters which aren’t important, still have questions for about 5–7 marks, which are very important to score aggregate. Those unimportant chapters can be covered at the initial of your preparation. If the topic / problem / concept is in the material of your institute, it is in the syllabus. No questions. You have to do it. Never leave anything for option, it is disastrous.

NOT GIVING ENOUGH TESTS

Tests and revisions are the basis of good marks regardless of what you are studying, I so wish all the students would for once, jot down how many tests they have given ever since they have started studying, and you will find the mistake right there. (try our free mock test here)

Keep away from bad, addictive influences like Mobile phones .For the last 1 month just switch off your phone. Yes, you read it right. Learn to sacrifice things.
